There is controversy as to where Tarot Cards originated. Some say they appeared in the fourteenth century, others say that the gypsies who carried the tarot decks to Europe brought with them a Book of Knowledge that had existed for ages. Wherever Tarot cards originated, the imagery has been developed by those who follow the occult tradition to provide us with a language of symbolism that we can use in our everyday lives. Basic Spreads I Use:1. Cross spread - 6 Cards 2. Horeshoe Spread- 7 Cards 3. 7 Day Spread - 8 Cards This spread is good for finding out what is going to happen within the next 7 days. Simply 8 cards are drawn and read from left to right. The first card is the day you are in and so counting 6 days from that. Each card represents each day. The final card, no. 8, will sum up the week for you. That one card will tell you the most about the overall 'vibe' of the week. 4. Money in My Life spread - 7 Cards Special Spreads:1. Celtic Cross - 10 Cards 2. Birthday Spread - 9 Cards 3. 6 Week Spread - 9 Cards 4. Wedding Toast Reading Spread - 12 Cards 5. Business Spread - 13 Cards: This spread focuses on conditions surrounding your work or career aspirations, your financial outlook and areas of greatest success potential. 6.
